Tata Motors Electric, or now ‘Tata.ev’, has increased the prices of the Punch EV in India. The popular family electric hatchback is now more expensive by up to Rs 20,000, depending on the variant. The price hike has affected all of its variants, where the lower ones get a Rs 10,000 increase, which goes up to Rs 20,000 for the top-spec ones.

The Tata Punch EV is one of the most popular Tata electric cars to be sold in India. It is available in a total of 6 variants that cater to a wide range of buyers with different ranges and utility options.
It comes fitted with either a 30 kWh or a 40 kWh battery pack, where the power outputs are 87bhp/154Nm and 127bhp/154Nm, respectively. The claimed range from the 30 kWh battery is 355 km, and from the 40 kWh battery is 468 km, which is more than enough for a family car.
